Participation in RELI contributes to something much bigger than myself.
I Learned to talk about the impacts of whiteness while avoiding using the words that trigger and
shut people down.
I will acknowledge and call out the systems that have been created to support and perpetuate whiteness.
Since I am not white, I will continue to help myself and others to understand the underlying
thinking around whiteness, especially white superiority.
I now know I need to recognize all of my students' identities and not just one or two of them.
I will be mindful of the privilege I have and model how to use it with my students.
